The Bolsheviks had been terrorizing the village one evening, and when Frank went out to try and stop them, he was beheaded. In Russia (1903-1917) the Bolshevik is a member of the more radical majority of the Social Democratic Party, advocatin abrupt and foceful siezure of power by the proletariat. Since 1918 they became a member of the Communist Party.
